Life for Grant Hill has stretched across from an upbringing in Western Canada through to experiences from shore to shore in the United States.

With the passion and talent for songwriting beginning in 2002 at California’s Venice Beach, songs such as “Moonshine”, “Jullianne”, “I Like Your Smile” and “Vibrations” have evolved, expanded and held true over the years through time and place.

Grant reveals deep meaning within his music firmly embedded in life experiences and the powerful emotions that come in part from a sliver of time in Hollywood living fast and hard, where more songs originated.

Time has allowed experiencing his life differently now, rising above old troubles and off-course veers. With that dichotomy of experiences, his songs bring forward a glow of hope that can only come about through a clarity of vision and a deep look at one’s own spirit.

For Grant this is all easily integrated musically with a wide array of style, and with the bold and vast production of producer Les Camacho, creates songs that for the listener, allow the rest of the world to drop away in sonic nirvana.

Classic and strong, and bold in its presence, his music is expansive and has the way of staying on your mind- and even in your soul- long after listening.

Grant is a writer of resolute and beautifully enduring lyrics that we as fans of real music are just beginning to experience, with his focus being to continue for years to come.
